Zapier is looking for an experienced Sales and Customer Success leader to take its user-driven (bottom-up) B2B sales model and expand it, and revenues. The Head of Sales and Success will be responsible for creating the strategy of low-touch and high-touch sales and success motions and building the global team that allows Zapier to serve every business segment.

This role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and work cross-functionally with Product and GTM leadership to set a strategic vision.

 About You

  • 10+ years in revenue leadership roles that successfully scaled an inside sales model, fueled by marketing or product-based lead gen engine (i.e., high-volume, low ACV)
  • Built a sales culture that is both high-performing and consistent with a strong corporate culture
  • History of working with peers in the marketing, partnerships, product, and support to find efficient paths to successful and profitable customers
  • Genuine, empathetic, humble, and mission-driven team player
  • Startup DNA with an insatiable intellectual curiosity
  • Student of sales models, from self-service to field sales; not happy with the “typical” sales culture

 

Things You’ll Do

Zapier is a fast-growing and remote-first company and we need strong leadership to help us define the next chapter. Here are some things you'll do:

  • Develop a repeatable sales and customer success process leveraging Zapier bottoms-up sales model to scale new business and expand existing accounts
  • Develop, experiment, and optimize the playbook for landing and expanding customer accounts
  • Create more value for customers by helping them grow usage and subsequently grow revenue for the business too
  • Lead the company’s efforts in selling horizontal product across multiple segments (i.e., SMB to large organizations)
  • Hire, mentor and lead a world class sales and customer success team
  • Lead the development of annual sales and customer success planning including budgeting and hiring plans
