About the job

This position is needed to program manage the interlock between sales technology, strategy, and process.  

The Senior Manager of Technical Sales Programs will join a new global Sales Programs team partnering closely with our Sales, Enablement, Marketing Operations, and Sales Operations teams. The role will be responsible for defining Twilio’s third party sales tools strategy and workflow, project manage upcoming sales tool integrations and deployment to sales, while also being the point of contact to Twilio’s sales tool vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Sales Programs Manager or an experienced sales operations professional to play a leadership role in a rapidly growing segment of Twilio. 


In this role, you’ll:

  • Align sales technology tools to a defined pipeline generation workflow
  • Define and maintain tool governance and ensure best practices policies and procedures for supported tools and resulting ecosystem
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and internal business partners to evaluate, pilot, and align tools 
  • Represent sales on technology feedback, integration workflows, and required functionality
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure sales tools are incorporated into onboarding and continuing education 
  • Cultivate a cross functional Sales Tool Council, which will focus on policy adoption, feedback, and cross functional alignment

  • An energetic, cross-functional leader with deep knowledge of enterprise technology sales and sales tool technology
  • Experience in sales tool evaluations and integration into SFDC
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills and are comfortable and excited to work side-by-side with execs
  • An expert in effective program management
  • Ability to take the vision and develop structured plans, actions and measurable metrics to effectively execute on that vision


This role will be remote and based in the USA

Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $105,728 (Developing minimum for Colorado) – $166,144 (Premium Mid for Denver Metro).
  • Sales Commission: Additionally, this role is eligible to earn commissions and eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
