About the job

Twilio is looking for a results-driven field marketing rockstar for Asia. This position is ideal for a creative self starter who is a strategic planner and stellar executor that can thrive in a very fast paced environment. As a close partner to Sales, this person would have in-depth understanding of the B2B buying journey in the North Asian Market particularly in Hong Kong & China and is adept in driving lead generation, account based marketing and go-to-market campaigns to impact the presale and post sale customer journey. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a talented, demand-gen marketer to make a significant impact.

Twilio is looking for a self starter who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of driving towards assigned targets or goals. You will/(be):

  • Lead overall Field Marketing for the North Asia region, covering Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, South Korea. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at global and regional levels to adapt messaging and positioning to the region, leverage and localize content for execution and delivery. 
  • Combine strategic planning to define overall pipegen architecture, develop and execute demand generation programs for target personas, industries and verticals for North Asia
  • Have In-depth understanding of the North Asia markets especially Hong Kong and China.
  • Have In-depth business knowledge and experience with China companies with international operations: 
  1. experience in lead acquisition, awareness and demand generation campaigns in this niche. 
  2. have a good understanding of local marketing digital and social media platforms suitable for the target audience and creative ways of nurturing new contacts for lead conversion. 
  • Results-oriented, creative self-starter who has about 5-8 years experience in a field marketing, demand generation or marketing communication role and has partnered directly with a sales organization. 
  • Strong communicator and may have had prior experience in developing messaging, positioning, development content in Chinese and managing content
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese. Fluency in spoken and written Chinese(Simplified) is important.
  • Oversee localization projects including marketing collaterals, customer success stories, digital marketing content and landing pages.
  • Experienced in driving lead acquisition, awareness & demand generation campaigns, industry and customer marketing field events 
  • Familiarity with Account Based Marketing techniques and experience with the tactics that work best in the region.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success Marketing and Public Relations to recruit referenceable customers for testimonials and new win press releases.
  • Adept in picking up technology and concepts
  • Effective in multi-tasking and willing to roll up your sleeves, and regularly work outside of your comfort zone. 
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally between APJ Marketing, Sales, Business development and Engineering teams.
  • High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce is a plus
