Toast Account & Settings is a fully accessible and intuitive account management experience for Toast Customers. It is where customers define and manage their business account with Toast. It provides the user with a seamless experience in their business relationship with Toast that leverages toast platform’s centralized user business platform to allow for a consistently positive customer experience while driving efficiency and growth.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)

Be part of a team working collaboratively with UX, PM, QA, and other engineers building web applications using modern web technologies

Define best practices and help choose technologies to evolve our current tech stack while writing world-class applications

Championing best practices such as quality integration, unit testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing

Provide design feedback and participate in code reviews to ensure implementations meet requirements

Ensure that all work done is delivered with quality and is appropriately monitored and
supported in production
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

Experience with Java or Kotlin with React and can apply them to build fully responsive web pages.
- We are open to a Backend focused canidate

The capacity to tackle complex and ambiguous problems, communicate clearly with others to solve the problem, and share knowledge to help the whole team succeed

Exposure to distributed systems, SaaS, SQL, JS, & Pulsar is a plus

Enjoys building well-engineered, usable and accessible systems

Experience working in a team with Agile/Scrum methodology
