Summary/Objectives
Tanium is looking for a SLED Field Marketing Manager. The person in this role will partner closely with the SLED Regional Marketing Manager and sales organization to help develop, manage and execute all regional marketing activities aligning to sales goals; this includes regional events, industry tradeshows, local seminars and workshops. The SLED Field Marketing Manager will manage event logistics, oversee Salesforce.com data accuracy, and support vertical-specific content and webinar productions. This position will report into the Director of Public Sector Marketing. 

 

This role is fully remote within the United States. 30-40% travel -as needed.

 

Minimum & Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree BA or BS in Marketing, PR, Journalism, Communication, English or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience within public sector industry, preferably state and local government
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Marketo
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment
  • Experience in enterprise cybersecurity, cloud/SaaS, or other UT environments a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Essential Job Functions

What you’ll do:
As the Field Marketing Manager you will work closely with SLED sales team to plan and execute high-touch events. The Field Marketing Manager will be measured on quality pipeline growth, lead conversions, and customer retention/expansion programs.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating unique and engaging event experiences that garner new interest from our target audience, as well as community-oriented events for our existing customers in the market.  Day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting and executing a variety of field marketing initiatives and iterating on current event programs based on results/outcomes.

  • Build and maintain relationships with SLED sales team to understand and meet overall sales initiatives and needs.
  • Coordinate and support Public Sector event schedule, including Hands-on Workshops, SLED Conferences and Trade Shows, User Groups, and SLED Field Events
  • Manage and maintain data accuracy around pre-event and post-event registration/attendee lead upload, tracking and reporting
  • Partner closely with SLED Sales teams to accurately track all event/campaign metrics (Qualified Leads, Contacts and Opportunities)
  • Organize and submit all contracts/agreements and AP documentation needed for Procurement submissions
  • Manage and track the Procurement, Legal and AP process for each program
  • Assist with the creation of event related attendee emails, invitations, landing pages, and follow-up communication
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including planning, exhibit materials, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, and F&B, & logistics.
  • Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales and marketing teams.
  • Enable the MDR/SDR team on pre- and post-event campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with the other field marketing managers on best practices to leverage across regions
  • Build and maintain marketing event and program calendar to promote awareness with sale team and drive engagement.
