Event Marketing Team Intern

Our Event Marketing Team Intern is responsible for logistically supporting Tanium's Global Events Team in the execution of our annual user conference, Converge. 

What you’ll do:
  • Converge Event Program Communications:
    • Assist with building our social media plan and draft posts
    • Assist with building promotional plan, including drafting both external communications to our target audience and internal communications
    • Assist with content creation for event website and other assets
  • Event Quality Assurance:
    • test and proofread all assets including websites and communications 
  • Event Salesforce Support:
    • Manage event registration Salesforce cleanup
    • Assist with Converge event prospect reporting
  • Event SWAG Program: 
    • Research all creative ideas 
    • Create proposals for leadership approval

All our intern positions are paid a full-time hourly wage for the duration of our summer internship program. 

Required qualifications:

  • Is authorized to work in the U.S. and available full-time for Summer 2022
  • 3.4 GPA or above
  • Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can show professionalism when working with vendors on event logistics 
  • Has strong writing and organization skills, and ability to maintain exceptional attention to detail in hands-on execution
  • Has a great creative drive, willingness to learn, and is passionate about marketing
  • Pursuing a completed a bachelor's degree, major concentration, or other formal education in marketing, communications, advertising, or any related field

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university as an undergraduate student, pursuing BA or BS in marketing, communications, advertising, or any related field
  • Spring 2023 or Winter 2022 graduation date
