About the team

In this role, you’d be joining the Workplace and Food Operations team which is part of the broader People and Places organization. The mission of the Stripe Workplace team is to build and operate inspirational work environments uniquely designed for productivity and wellbeing. Offices that are warm, comfortable, welcoming and also reflect Stripe’s operating principles and the highly regulated industry in which Stripe operates, where safety, security, and confidentiality are paramount.

What you’ll do

  • We're looking for an organized, flexible, and detail-oriented person who's enthusiastic about – and has a driving need to deliver-the best possible workplace experience for Stripes. You’ll own day-to-day office management for our London office, with potential to remotely manage smaller offices in the EMEA region. This includes: implementing programming aligned with the future of work at Stripe, scaling existing programs, and strengthening vendor relationships to keep London-based Stripes engaged and productive.


  • Work closely with Workplace colleagues, cross-functional partner teams, functional leaders, and executives to ensure that the office you manage is a safe, productive and comfortable environment that reflects Stripe’s Workplace philosophies
  • Create great first impressions; manage Stripe's front of house experience, ensuring both guests and employees have a positive, friction-free experience when they walk through the door
  • Use vendor management best practices to provide Stripes best-in-class service whether issues are resolved in-house, by building management or by one of our partners 
  • Ensure office supplies are maintained and stock-up when needed
  • Partner with EHS manager to ensure health and safety regulations are met
  • Craft relevant communications and documentation regarding Workplace policies and programs for Stripes
  • Work closely with our Finance & Strategy partner to manage site opex budget and fixed assets 
  • Own office food program in order to provide Stripes healthy food and beverage options
  • Support space planning, office expansions, and layout changes as required; coordinate move logistics
  • Provide remote support to other EMEA offices, as needed, including potential for travel
  • Support the Workplace team's goals by taking on ad hoc tasks and projects as they arise
  • Work closely with local site leadership team to plan office events that create engagement, connection, and an inclusive environment

Minimum requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in office/facilities management in a fast-paced environment with a working knowledge of building systems and operational best practices
  • Demonstrated ability in vendor and budget management
  • Strength in building relationships with key internal partners to ensure efficiency and understanding on cross-functional projects
  • A proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects; be highly organized with analytical skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack and Jira
