About the team

Stripe is investing in building out its worldwide Elevate team to actively engage customers and partners to help envision and define strategies to transform existing business models to drive growth, enter new markets, create new business models, and improve operational performance leveraging Stripe’s platform and capabilities. Our Executive Strategists will combine their practical experience in business transformation with learnings from Stripe existing customers, partners, and industry experts to align with executives on key priorities and prescribe solutions to meet these key priorities. This role builds and develops trusted advisor relationships with customers, partners, and internally across Stripe. The team’s experience and thought leadership is shared through direct customer interactions.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

  • Engage executives to expertly define and manage bespoke industry-aligned digital transformation advisory engagements at select customers, leveraging Stripe’s methodologies
  • Lead visioning workshops with customer leadership and their teams to better understand their existing operations and strategy as well as challenges and desired outcomes
  • Deep dives with customers to better understand their current situation while solidifying relationships
  • Document and present insights and recommended solutions to meet customer business objectives
  • Create high-quality deliverables that communicate strategic alignment, present customer journey roadmaps, and document the full business case to justify action
  • Expertly communicate and advise in 1:1 and 1: many environments
  • Work closely with sales, customer success, solution architects, professional services, and partners to help define account plans and sales strategy for key accounts in the region
  • Provide analytical expertise to help assess and prioritize accounts and strategies
  • Provide full lifecycle business outcome and value realization advisory
  • Identify, lead, and contribute to the creation of new IP (best practices, white papers, value creation/business case, workshops, etc.)
  • Participate in market position through blog posts, public speaking events, and developing customer champions
  • Innovate on current methods and frameworks
  • Collaborate with and enable the Stripe account teams on a business consulting approach to sales
  • Provide feedback and use case models to Stripe product and marketing teams

Who you are

Minimum requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Management consulting from a top tier consulting firm with exposure to financial services and cloud technologies or a customer-facing business strategy/sales/development manager with a leading payments or technology vendor
  • Experience developing and growing C-Level relationships with an ability to simplify and communicate complex topics to an audience with various functional knowledge
  • Excellent presentation skills including public speaking, meeting facilitation, and white boarding
  • Deep customer connections in Global 2000 companies
  • High level of executive gravitas with a humble demeanor
  • Exemplary analytical and financial acumen
  • Enjoy working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment
  • Willing to travel up to 40-50% of the time

Preferred qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Executive / leadership experience working on digital transformation projects and/or enterprise software deployments
  • Highly adept at navigating cross functional business processes and Industry trends with significant experience in a major industry (FSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
