We’re looking for a Social Marketing Intern to join the Creator Marketing team! Who are we? We’re a cross-functional group dedicated to helping artists and their teams thrive. Spotify for Artists started as a focused analytics app for artists, and has since grown into the leading music industry brand with a suite of products, services, and content for artists, songwriters, labels, managers, music marketers, and publishers.

You will support the social and content marketing team that runs Spotify’s music creator brands, including Spotify for Artists, Spotify Charts, and Noteable. You’ll assist with executing creative and innovative programming across our owned social media channels, and will work closely with a variety of teams (Growth, Content, Product Marketing).

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Assist with crafting copy for social media posts
  • Review and proof social assets with social media team
  • Pitch and craft new social post ideas and strategies for existing video, blog, and website content for Spotify for Artists
  • Work alongside Production and Editorial teams to deliver social media assets for publishing 
  • Assist with execution of Product and Brand Marketing campaigns
  • Support social media team with community engagement and user queries on Instagram and TikTok
  • Provide stakeholders with key social insights on a regular basis, including opportunities for channel improvement and growth

    Who You Are

     

  • You are currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Music Business or related field
  • You have a graduation date of 2023
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based between June and August 2022
  • You are looking to pursue a career in the social marketing space, and are passionate about creating content that speaks to the music industry
  • You love all things music and enjoy finding ways to help artists and their teams grow and succeed
  • You care about finding new ways to use social media to tell stories
  • You keep up with the ever-changing social landscape, and are always ahead of the curve when it comes to identifying new trends

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location.

    Our paid summer internships last for 10-13 weeks and start at the beginning of June. The last day to apply is February 1st, 2022 at 11:59 AM EST.
