Sr. Technical Product Manager – Ad Architecture

We are looking for a hardworking and experienced Technical Product Manager to lead our client architecture efforts at Spotify. In close partnership with engineering and product leaders from across the business, your work will differentiate & support Spotify’s advertiser offering by providing the underlying architecture for all of our consumer ad experience and maintaining our growing core business. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Collaborate with a cross functional team of engineers, designers, data scientists and research counterparts to develop and implement scalable client architecture across music, podcasts, and Spotify’s other content investments.
  • Combine your understanding of ad serving technology with a new understanding of the unique challenges we face at Spotify to build differentiated features and create a lasting impact on the music industry, podcast creators, and Spotify.
  • Be the internal champion who will develop and articulate the vision for our unified client ad platform to internal and external customers.

    Who You Are

     

  • You have 5+ years of engineering, product or program management experience in ad tech, preferably in building products on sophisticated distributed systems.
  • You have a deep understanding of ad serving all of the technology that goes into serving relevant ads to users.
  • You have a proven track record of shipping products consumed by internal product engineering teams.
  • You demonstrate solid understanding of engineering and technical depth that lets you earn the respect of outstanding engineers.
  • You have stellar agile program management skills and have driven projects to successful and timely completion.
  • You can balance and prioritize the needs of many contending partners, and you can manage their expectations with patience and grace.
  • You have sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.
  • You have strong written and oral communications skills.
