Senior Sales Insights Analyst – Creator Studio

We’re looking for a passionate Sales Insights Analyst to join the Creator Studio organization in New York – a fast paced and cross-functional team within Spotify’s Music Mission, dedicated to helping artists thrive by building tools to grow and engage their audiences.

In this role, you’ll help our customers and partners conceive, implement, and evaluate impactful marketing campaigns by providing insights and analyses of streaming and campaign engagement data. You’ll also partner with our sales teams answer questions from customers, support the development of proactive pitches, and educate internal teams on product performance. The success of our tools crucially depends on the story we tell potential customers, making this role highly impactful.


What You’ll Do:


  • Support requests and pitches with the data needed to tell a powerful story to our customers
  • Conduct analyses on streaming data to find trends that our customers can use to make decisions and select the right marketing tools
  • Develop templates, dashboards and processes that build efficiencies in assembling insights
  • Work with data scientists to structure and handle the datasets necessary to respond to customer and stakeholder needs
  • Provide insight into our key customer segments and provide recurring updates on sales trends and movements
  • Conduct deep dives into key campaigns and prepare insights for quarterly business reviews, in support of the commercial partnerships team

    Who You Are:


  • You have 5+ years of experience in a high-growth tech, media and entertainment, or consulting company
  • You have the strong technical competence to perform sophisticated analytics using SQL, data visualization tools, and excel (bonus points for python)
  • You are able to translate customer questions into practical insights and have strong communication skills
  • You have worked with marketing and have a sense for the analysis required to drive marketing decisions and evaluate results
