Senior Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a highly dedicated, hard-working Senior Payroll Specialist to help support our EMEA payroll operational team! Based out of London and together with other team members, this role will be responsible for handling the monthly payroll for a number of countries in the EMEA region. Besides the day to day responsibilities, you will receive and respond to incoming queries from employees, managers and other stakeholders.

With our growing business, the ideal candidate must work effectively in a fast-paced environment and take initiative. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of combined experience in UK payroll. Previous experience with EMEA payroll is essential, experience in either German, French, Belgium, Spanish or Italian payroll processing would be a plus.


What you will do:


  • Be responsible for coordinating payroll end to end with our outsourced payroll providers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Make sure we are in compliance with local regulations
  • Find the answers to questions from employees and other departments regarding payroll and pension
  • Work closely with other departments such as HR and Accounting to ensure that the end-to-end payroll process is accurate
  • Assist with general HR related matters and benefit administration, and general administrative duties such as statistics and pension
  • Make sure your work is SOX compliant
  • Support the development of processes, systems and standards to improve service delivery

    Who you will be:


  • 4 + years experience of working in payroll
  • Previous experience with UK and international payroll
  • Experience in either German, French, Belgium, Spanish or Italian payroll processing would be a plus
  • Someone with an analytic mind
  • Used to looking at payroll accounting documents, and are used to working in Excel
  • Have excellent time management- and structure skills
  • Good at troubleshooting and finding solutions to problems, and have no problem working independently as well as in a team
  • Are a positive person who doesn’t scare easily when you are exposed to uncertainty or high tempo situations. You like to juggle more than one thing at a time
  • Fluent in English, in speech and writing
