The Senior Manager of Music, PR & Communications will serve as an integral member of the Communications Team. Working closely with our Global Head of Music Industry Communications, you will be responsible for global public relations activities related to our Music and Consumer business units. This includes assisting with consumer launches, communications for new tools and services, artist events, industry awards, playlist promotion, editorial content creation, corporate reputation and other special projects.
What you’ll do
Provide counsel and high-level strategic industry communications support to the Music and Consumer teams.
Develop and implement communications plans around consumer launches.
Collaborate with the artist relations teams to celebrate artists’ success on the platform.
Execute successful artist events surrounding big industry moments.
Coordinate with the broader global communications team to promote relevant playlists.
Orchestrate impactful trade media opportunities on behalf of the artist and songwriter relations teams.
Develop communications materials for reputation management and effectively respond to incoming inquiries.
Liaise with external music industry partners on various communications projects.
Lead agency relationships.
Who you are
10+ years of experience in music, entertainment or media communications.
Strong music industry knowledge, media contacts and relationships.
Understands various audiences and is able to tailor communications to best resonate
Relevant consumer knowledge, media contacts and relationships.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
Exceptional writing and verbal communications skills.
Strong understanding of data and insights.
Ability to translate sophisticated concepts into clear communications.
Focused project management skills with attention to detail across deliverables and multiple stakeholders.
Team player who thinks globally.
Ability to travel internationally, pending the latest health and safety protocols.
