We are looking for a Senior Localization Project Manager to join the Platform Mission here at Spotify!

In this role, you will take lead in making sure we provide our users with a truly localized experience across all of our products and marketing efforts, respecting their values and cultures.

You will report to the Marketing Localization Manager and work closely alongside your colleagues to improve and support our localization team’s mission and vision. We are passionate about relentlessly improving the localized user experience, and we want you to share our passion for global UX and language quality. With 60+ languages already supported, you’ll be fundamental to Spotify’s success.


What you’ll do


  • Lead localization projects for campaigns and marketing content, CRM, e-mails, product and web content, coordinate localization, and QA workflow.
  • Ensure work is done within budget and that vendors adhere to their service level agreement.
  • Lead meetings and work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, product owners, internal reviewers, engineers, marketers, and others across the company, passionate about Spotify’s success. You will facilitate communication of localization requirements, share insights, resolve any issues and ensure that we operate according to our overall localization strategy.
  • Review the existing project management resources, tools, and practices, analyze the gaps and work on opportunities for improvement
  • Bridge the gap between multiple partners working in the same space through the localization lens and proactively take initiative to educate and align their roadmaps
  • Coordinate the localization review workflow with internal and external resources
  • Review, prioritize, and supervise the resolution of bugs that affect localized product content quality and functionality.
  • Develop and implement processes to increase efficiency, and handle cost and time to market for localized versions.

    Who you are


  • Proven experience as Localization Project/Program Manager in a fast-paced role with accountability for delivering projects with multiple components and multiple partners and collaborators.
  • Experience working both on the vendor and client-side
  • Experience maintaining relationships with vendors.
  • Experience working with Marketing teams on the client-side
  • Have a basic understanding of the engineering and software development processes
  • Experience working with multiple TMS, CMS, and other translation and content management tools.
  • Strong track record in delivering global products, and understanding of localization challenges.
  • Creative as well as a strategic problem-solver who can demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills
