We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Application Engineer to join Spotify’s Productivity Engineering group, the team responsible for advancing the digital workplace at Spotify. Our mission is to give every Spotifier the best possible user experience from the moment they open their device. As an Atlassian Application Engineer you will help Spotify lead in the SaaSOps domain, managing the core applications for productivity, communication and collaboration used across Spotify. You will have the opportunity not only to work with new and interesting productivity technologies but also to influence our SaaS providers on everything from the features they offer to how they secure, manage, and scale their applications.
What you’ll do
Scale applications to support dynamic teams in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Identify and drive initiatives to increase productivity through automation and integrations
Assess dynamic business and support processes to implement, configure and optimize SaaS application usage
Perform SaaS application risk assessments and develop risk maps to ensure users and data are protected
Take the lead in assessing and selecting new technologies and integrations, including product enhancement and product upgrades
Who you are
Experienced using DevOps practices to manage applications in the IaaS and PaaS environment and SaaSOps practices to manage and integrate SaaS applications
You have advanced working knowledge (and ideas to improve) leading productivity tools such as the Atlassian suite, G Suite and Slack
A valued team player in a dynamic, autonomous, cross-functional agile team
Passionate about creating efficient systems and great end user experience while ensuring compliance and security
Expert level knowledge around cloud computing AWS a plus
