We are looking for an outstanding Sales Trainer to join our Ad Sales Training & Enablement Team in Tokyo. You will be responsible for delivering on-boarding training, coaching new hires, running product training, and delivering sales skills workshops for the Spotify advertising sales team in Japan. The team is responsible for selling digital advertising and managing digital ad campaigns in the region.
What You’ll Do
Work with sales leadership to build a training strategy for our sales teams
Conduct on-boarding sessions for new hires throughout the region and coach new sales hires as they ramp up
Work with internal teams, such as Marketing and Operations, to build and deliver training sessions on new products, sales positioning, and business processes
Conduct needs assessments, build training curriculum, facilitate workshops, and manage 3rd party training partners
Facilitate both group sessions and one-on-one coaching for sales and sales support staff
Who You Are
6-10 years of total work experience, including minimum 2 years proven digital media proven industry experience
Minimum 1 year of training experience, either as your primary role, or as secondary responsibilities
Some previous media sales/buying experience preferred
Must have strong understanding of the digital advertising industry, including programmatic, targeting, and a basic understanding of ad serving
A passion for helping people improve and perform
A successful track record of collaborating with peers, individual contributors, leaders, and subject matter experts
Comfortable delivering candid feedback in a professional manner
Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects with different timelines
Must be proficient in both Japanese and English
