Spotify is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our dynamic Spotify Ad Sales Operations & Strategy team working out of our London office! The focus of the Sales Ops team is to maximise business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the Sales Leadership. As Partner Sales Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for creating, enhancing and maintaining reporting, forecasting, analysis and strategic planning to drive revenue growth in Spotify’s global reseller business which focuses on our emerging markets such as Africa, Middle East, South America, etc. You will champion growth strategies that meaningfully impact our business while providing ongoing revenue transparency through operational excellence. You will have the ability to question the effectiveness of current processes/procedures in order to drive change to increase the efficiency of our sales team.
This role will work closely with the Global Head of Partner Sales, Sales and FP&A and reports into the Global Head of Sales Operations at Spotify. You will use your strategic thinking and analytical skills to provide data driven insights and build/refine operational processes for the Spotify Partner Sales business.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for the weekly assembly and delivery of sales performance insights: dashboards, revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, segmentation and account assignments, win rates, etc.
Identify business trends and shifts, and recommend data-driven strategies and recommendations to the Partner Sales Leadership.
Participate in weekly in-depth financial and sales reporting and forecasting
Own the Quarterly and Annual Planning & Achievement processes for Partner Sales as they relate to sales budgets/quotas, market/territory analysis and commissions achievement.
Engage with the Partner Sales team to garner feedback on the sales and operational processes and seek opportunities to drive improvements and challenge the status quo.
Own any data and analysis for internal Quarterly and ad hoc Business Review sessions on behalf of the regional Partner Sales leads.
Manage and directly provide support for ad hoc reporting, analysis and troubleshooting for the Partner Sales teams
Who you are:
You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a leading College or University
You have at least 3-5+ years of digital media experience in a strategic and analytical capacity
You have experience working using SQL to extract and transform complex datasets into more easily consumable formats
You have worked with Tableau (or another BI tool), connecting to multiple data sources to create reports and dashboards
You have experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and the overall sales stack of tools that drive productivity
You have strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
You have the ability to identify necessary sales and operational process improvements and drive change
You have a flexible and curious mindset to understand specificities from different continents/countries which are often much more economically challenged and face political instability, experience in developing/emerging markets a plus
You have the ability to understand and position objectively external sales thinking and internal requirements
You are organised and can juggle working on multiple different projects at once
You have a growth mindset and are a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
You have excellent collaboration skills working with multiple departments and individuals to reach common solutions that serve revenue growth
You are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures
