We are seeking an outstanding Program Manager to join our growing Trust & Safety team. This role will play a lead role in developing and maintaining key partnerships between Spotify and the broad range of global third party safety authorities, organizations, and academics who comprise our Safety Advisory Council. You are a phenomenal leader and problem solver who excels in a fast paced environment, can create structure in ambiguous spaces, and bring cross functional teams together to drive solutions. 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Play a key role in launching Spotify’s Safety Advisory Council.
  • Plan and lead a regular cadence of engagement between Spotify stakeholders and external Safety Advisory Council members to discuss and capture feedback on safety initiatives.
  • Ensure a regular cadence of communication with the Safety Advisory Council around Spotify’s progress in the safety space.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness of and provide more transparency into how Spotify collaborates with the Safety Advisory Council.
  • Help identify and onboard additional Council members to ensure we’re being inclusive of safety expertise in markets around the world.

    Who you are

     

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 4+ years experience project leading strategic initiatives; strong experience in successfully crafting and delivering sophisticated projects spanning multiple teams, functions and locations.
  • A deep understanding of the online safety trends and landscape, especially issues related free-expression and content moderation.
  • Excellent program management skills; proven track record to lead multiple projects simultaneously across time-zones
  • Outstanding communication skills; experience representing T&S in any situation and synthesizing complex information for all audiences.
  • Able to deliver training, build related materials and exercises, and adapt strategies for success of our Safety Advisory Council.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify workflow improvements and turn feedback into action.
  • Great teammate with ability to work autonomously, and lead others. Able to identify roadblocks and get hands-on to ensure programs move forward
  • Self-starter, resilient, and passionate about keeping our community safe.
