Product Manager Voice – Consumer Experience

We are looking for a Product Manager with a keen interest in voice experiences and the underlying technology to lead the strategy for Spotify’s Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri integrations. You will work with multiple engineering squads in the partner voice area and form part of a wider partner-facing team to define and deliver upon a product strategy which will encourage further adoption and personalisation of Spotify on these platforms. Above all your work will improve the experience of listening to Spotify music and audio in the most effortless way possible for millions of users.


What you’ll do


  • Drive the product vision and strategy with innovative engineers, product managers, designers, consumer insights and analytics teams to deliver outstanding experiences to our users
  • Define, communicate, represent and debate strategy with senior stakeholders across Spotify
  • Develop close working relationships with our partners and occasionally travel to the US for on site workshops.
  • Bring Spotify’s unique knowledge of user’s taste in audio to the most used smart assistants in the world.
  • Be based anywhere in Europe with Spotify’s flexible working policy.

  • You have a deep understanding of how voice technology works at every level of the stack.
  • You enjoy developing strategies and can handle a high level of detail too.
  • You understand how to collaborate with business partners to develop amazing experiences.
  • You are experienced at working across multiple tech stacks and client architectures.
  • You are a great communicator who can tell compelling stories both verbally and in writing.
  • You care a lot about how business, product and technology strategies work together.
  • You have a logical approach to problem solving and a consistent track record of bringing structure to ambiguous problems.
  • You understand how to lead engineering and partner teams and can ensure they know ‘why’ decisions are made.
