The Podsights team at Spotify is focused on growing the podcast and audio industry. Far too many brands try a podcast advertising campaign and churn. Or worse: they don’t even try to enter the market. By providing a platform for brands to understand and scale podcast advertising, we encourage investment in podcast advertising and by proxy to Spotify and all publishers.
We are looking for an outstanding Account Manager to join the Podsights Revenue team. This role needs an advertising professional who will take a consultative approach to selling the Podsights dashboard. Our approach to sales is to educate our partners on podcast advertising and attribution. You must be goal oriented and also thrive in a team environment. Ideally, you have worked in media and are familiar with the nuances of digital advertising and measurement. We want someone who loves podcasts and digital audio and can speak conversationally about the industry.
What You’ll Do
You will be a Podsights expert and evangelist, actively reaching out to current customers to create relationships and drive incremental revenue.
You will sell across the full value chain of the media industry, including publishers, sell-side agencies, buy-side agencies, and advertisers.
You will lead conversations and sell the Podsights platform, which includes advertiser attribution, media planning tools, and podcast discovery tools.
Coordinate across all teams at Podsights, ranging from the Finance and Marketing teams to the Customer Success and Product teams
You will support and up level the Spotify Ads Business Unit media sales team via internal education, co-selling in market, and being a go to resource for the co-creation of educational content.
Meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals
Manage activity using Hubspot, provide accurate and timely deal updates, forecasting, and reporting on meeting activity
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s degree
You have 1-3+ years experience in media sales, media planning/buying, or digital advertising
You can discuss ad-tech and basic ad ops topics
You have a surface level understanding of the digital ecosystem
You have the ability to build/manage a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding goals
You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
You are a great teammate, hard-working, adapt well with change and have a positive attitude
You are able to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment both with the Podsights team and the entire Spotify Ads Business Unit.
