The Core Experience team works at the heart of the Spotify user experience, and our mission is to redefine the future of audio consumption, and provide users with an intuitive, pleasant, and frictionless listening experience. We are looking for an Operations & Project Manager to join one of our product areas. You’ll be responsible for making sure the operations and strategy work is running seamlessly and effectively as well as being able to oversee the delivery of complex products and services via one or more multidisciplinary, highly skilled teams.
What you’ll do
Actively discuss, manage and be proactive about how the work aligns with the overall mission yearly goals and across the portfolio
Own all planning related work in the product area, make the planning process intentional, effective and resulting in impactful and realistic plans
Drive the overarching perspective on how to best deliver goals within the product areas, including overall structure and alignment
Build the lightweight processes that support teams’ creating goals that ladder up to overarching strategies and priorities
Work with cross functionally to ensure goals and scope are defined and there are cross-functional plans in place to make them reality
Communicate and visualise progress towards agreed goals and help managing and addressing risks, issues and dependencies
Help continually improve processes, ways of working and delivery approaches within teams and the product area
Establish relationships and effective cross team and cross functional collaboration, communication and decision making
Engage and build relationships with programme managers to aid collaboration and build transparency on delivery progress and challenges
Create great agile working environments for your teams and help teams establishing healthy team dynamics and routines
Who you are
Have 3+ years of experience working with software development, you have delivered products and services from idea to launch.
Have worked closely with cross functional teams within design, research, product and engineering.
Have a deep understanding of agile and lean methodologies and how they help deliver products and services
Have experience in discussing and interacting with senior leaders, an influencer with the ability to lead without formal authority.
You believe that how you work is as important as what you deliver
You see the bigger picture, analytical and can quickly grasp what is an actual problem/opportunity and what needs to focus on now.
An efficient communicator and great at clarifying and simplifying for teams.
You have a flexible approach, responsive to changing business needs.
Structured, goal focused, but also pragmatic, understanding the complexity of working with a multitude of different teams and people.
You’re great at building relationships, bringing playfulness and a sense of humor to work.

Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the EMEA region in which we have a work location and is within working hours.
Working hours? We operate within the Central European and GMT time zones for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone.
