The FR BLX Marketing team is a small but mighty team tasked with driving brand & user growth through full-funnel consumer marketing. We work as one with other teams across the business, ensuring all the forward-thinking products, features and content we have, get seen, heard and shouted about.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing FR BLX, your mission will be to drive awareness, consideration and love for our brand, whilst facilitating increased user penetration locally. Experience in interpreting consumer trends, audience and data insights and translating them into meaningful marketing campaigns is essential, as is the ability to translate highly strategic marketing bets into regional tactical executions. In particular, you are in your element when it comes to social media platforms (such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube…) as well as influencers and creators, both from a strategy and execution standpoint. You will work closely with regional cross-functional teams including Music, Studios, Comms, Growth, Business Development and Strategy & Ops.
What you’ll do:
Plan, implement and optimize marketing campaigns and initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners
Ensure all marketing activity feels local, personal and delivers significant measurable growth
Work with cross-functional teams to drive local market bets that positively impact both brand metrics and business key performance indicators
Manage social media operations for Spotify’s local handles together with external agency
Optimize and lead the development of creative formats for social media platforms
Play a key part in building relationships with influencers and creators
Build strategic alignment with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing efforts are closely coordinated with other activities of the business
Produce campaign retrospectives that reflect our wins, define our return on investment and inform future marketing efforts
Keep a close eye on industry trends and monitor consumer and competitor behavior
You will work out of the Paris office
Who you are:
A versatile marketer with 5 to 8 years of experience working for a category leading brand, agency or media company
Practical experience in social media and influence marketing
Passion for content trends across digital platforms
Owned the conception and execution of large-scale integrated marketing campaigns
Shown experience in tailoring global brands to local, domestic audiences
Proficient with data and skilled at leveraging insights to inform marketing plans
Passionate about music, podcasts and the digital audio landscape, with comprehensive knowledge of local competitors as well as key music scenes, genres and artists
Solid understanding of the digital media industry, with a network of media, brands, influencers and creators preferred
Work autonomously in a highly cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders across time zones
Exhibit a proactive, positive and collaborative attitude, with passion for the Spotify brand and the ability to empower and encourage
Excellent communicator, both written and orally
Proficient in French and English (Dutch a plus)
