Manager – Accounting, Consolidations

The Manager of Consolidation is responsible for all aspects of the consolidation process, including month and quarter end close, maintenance of the global consolidation system, validation and analysis of reported results, and support of information needs across a diverse financial reporting user base. This person must have a proven track record of independently leading transformation and process improvement projects from start to finish. The Manager of Consolidation is a very strong leader who is adept at inspiring change within a very dynamic business environment and has a proven record of delivering process efficiency results.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of combined experience at an SEC registered global organization with foreign exchange and public accounting. The position is based in New York City.


What You’ll Do


  • Support the Consolidation and GL team in all aspects of the monthly and quarterly close including but not limited to review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations and flux in accordance with IFRS
  • Assist in the preparation and review of all close and reporting deliverables while ensuring accurate results are delivered on time in accordance with IFRS
  • Present monthly and quarterly financial statement results to partners
  • Independently lead transformation and process improvement projects from start to finish while ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley with no impact to close timelines
  • Collaborate with partners throughout the organization including but not limited to Tax, Financial Engineering, Internal Audit, FP&A, Legal, etc. to support post-acquisition integration process
  • Support with the creation of new entities in our ERP system as a result of M&A, new market launches and other growth efforts. Liaise with global partners in accounting to meet all related metadata requirements in ERP
  • Assist with financial audits, prepare audit schedules and collaborate with auditors
  • Perform other ad hoc analyses and special projects as required

    Who You Are


  • 8+ years of experience working with SEC registered companies, including recent experience in accounting operations or consolidations with foreign currency translations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and accounting software, preferably NetSuite but not required
  • Brings a detail-oriented and hands-on style and the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast moving company with a wide variety of critical initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and accounting initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
