Spotify is seeking a Head of Global Sales Systems & Tools to join our dynamic Advertising Business Operations team working out of our New York office! In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing processes, systems and infrastructure that boost sales productivity and efficiency. You will lead a team that focuses on refining sales processes, standardizing operational workflows and tools, creating & maintaining detailed process documentation and driving consistency throughout the global sales organization. You will influence and manage a sales technology strategy to scale ahead of the business’ needs, ensuring that the strategy takes into account the full sales and marketing funnel. You will be a strategic cross functional partner to enable automation across all areas of the sales process. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.


What you’ll do


  • You will focus on optimizing sales efficiency by defining and implementing sales processes, standardizing operational workflows and tools, creating & documenting details of all aspects of process, and driving consistency throughout the global sales organization.
  • Establish the end-to-end sales reporting (metrics, targets, cadence) that improves productivity and provides real time visibility into revenue performance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and cleanliness of all advertising data.
  • Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations.
  • Lead adoption, training and enablement efforts across the organization for all system usage.
  • Develops KPIs to measure efficiency of system usage and improvements.
  • Host executive level workshops with cross functional stakeholders to understand their business problems and define solutions/requirements.
  • Manage the development of detailed design specifications and requirements to be implemented by the Sales engineering teams.
  • Foster an environment of continuous process improvement and define KPIs and perform in-depth analysis to monitor success.

    Who you are


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years previous digital media experience in sales operations, revenue operations or sales enablement
  • 5+ years experience managing and developing a team of sales engineers
  • Extensive first-hand experience with progressive sales automation systems and demonstrated ability to improve sales productivity
  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
  • Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity, prioritizing critical client issues and identifying team needs
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Deep experience in technical implementations across CRM, Order Management Systems, data analytics tools, reporting management and sales prospecting tools 
  • Expert presentation, preparation and delivery skills
