Group Product Manager – Soundtrap, Music

We are looking for a creative and experienced Group Product Manager to join our Soundtrap team, Spotify’s cloud-based audio creation studio. We are on a mission to make music creation and storytelling simple and collaborative for everyone.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead our core product strategy with emphasis on delivering value for our users that work for our business. As a product-led organization, this is a critical role to our success. You’ll lead the product team, responsible for their growth and impact, and work collaboratively with our Engineering, Design, and Insights leads to deliver significant results.

What you’ll do


  • Responsible for the Core product of Soundtrap
  • Lead a team of 5 Product Managers across multiple squads, passionate about their development and growth into a strong impactful team
  • Formulate product area strategy and vision, ensuring our team and our partners understanding and dedication
  • Accountable for driving business and user value of our product, setting ambitious objectives for the teams and ensuring significant progress towards them
  • Partner with our Engineering, Design and Insights Leads to foster a culture of impact and performance
  • Ensure your team is aligned with team and company leadership and focusing on the right things, always balancing quality vs speed and short vs long term needs.
  • Deep understanding of business performance and input that into our strategy and priorities
  • Stay on top of industry trends and user behaviour changes

    Who you are


  • Passionate about Music Production and have a deep understanding of the field and the industry. You have a background as a user of creator’s tools
  • Experienced product leader, passionate about developing and coaching senior and junior PMs to develop into successful teams
  • Experience managing user-facing products and portfolios with a strong technical component, and scaling up to achieve significant growth
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and conflicting priorities, being able to set a clear path and priorities for the team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build solid collaboration with colleagues and partners
