We are seeking an Account Director to join our EMEA Partner Sales team, based in London! The team will be leading our regional re-seller relationship in EMEA. This role would work to enable our partner to best represent our advertising sales within these countries. Above all, your work will alter the way the world experiences music.
This role will report to Director of Sales, Partner Sales, EMEA.
This role will be contracted until January 2024.
What you’ll do:
Support EMEA Sales in selling ad space in order to grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies and clients directly
Collaborate with Sales Partners across various agency departments, i.e. radio, digital, branded content, to deliver successful campaigns
Own the country level ad sales revenue target, deploying a sales and marketing strategy to deliver and exceed this
Coordinate with the communications planning team and strategic planners, account directors, and buyers to create successful ad campaigns
Focus on the brand sell; educating and inspiring our EMEA partners to sell Spotify’s advertising solutions
Meet and exceed advertising revenue targets
Help coach partners on the Programmatic advertising landscape where needed
Help set up scalable, efficient processes for our Sales Partners
Work with DSP & SSP partners to maximize yield from PMPs, PG and OMP sources
Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassadors
Handle activity using salesforce.com
Who you are:
7+ years of experience in a media agency/online sales role. Experience in working with Sales Houses or Resellers in the past is preferred
Deep understanding of online media, programmatic advertising and creativity with audio and digital client solutions
Solid working knowledge of programmatic measurement tools, ad verification partners, 3rd party data providers & technologies
Strong experience of digital advertising and publishers with an understanding of video, audio, and display formats
Positive relationships across the digital and programmatic community and can raise the profile of Spotify amongst key programmatic teams
Consistent record of effective and well-organized pitching and selling backed by results
Great negotiator with the ability to present effectively and close deals
Experienced in building reports and presentations using Excel, Keynote, etc.
Ability to work in a start-up, exciting environment and across external and internal teams to deliver campaigns
Highly motivated, driven and self-going with an entrepreneurial approach
