We are looking for a Change Manager to join Spotify’s Productivity Engineering group, the team responsible for advancing the digital workplace at Spotify. Our mission is to give every Spotifier the best possible user experience from the moment they open their device. By doing so we seek to remove all barriers to collaboration, enabling every employee to work freely and securely—with an experience that makes Spotify into one of the best places to work.

Your work will touch every employee at Spotify, focussing on the people side of change for all Productivity Engineering initiatives to maintain an exceptional experience. Playing a crucial role in ensuring that Spotifiers accept change; driving faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact them, while minimizing resistance. You will interact with people across our entire company: other engineering teams, as well as employees in Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal, Sales, Artist Relations, and more. What you’ll do

 

  • Take ownership for driving and implementing change across the business with a specific focus on outcomes
  • Apply change management strategies and plans that improve employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
  • Work with Engineering and Product to conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key partners to ensure healthy delivery
  • Create practical deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications
  • Maintain relationships and develop credibility with key senior partners across the group
  • Work with Product and Insights to establish and implement mechanisms by which benefits can be delivered and measured

  • You have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • You have experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • You are passionate about building exceptional experiences
  • You are a strong relationship builder who can adapt their style and gain consensus to deliver results.
  • You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, engaging with your audience on a personal level.
  • You are an interdisciplinary problem solver, skilled at blending different perspectives in pursuit of a mission.
  • You have a strong, positive track-record of innovation and collaboration – able to work with teams with varied strengths in diverse locations, engaging their input and commitment to success

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
  • Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location and is within working hours. 
  • Working hours? We operate within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone.
