The Spotify Egypt team are looking for a Business Operations Analyst to support the region’s growth by capturing insights through analysis and research to find opportunities for growth and improving processes to help the business scale.
On the Markets and Subscriber Growth team, you will report directly to the Strategy and Operations Lead as well as working closely with teams across Consumer Marketing and Growth, Music and Studios to collate insights to inform the local strategy and build critical business processes.
What You’ll Do
Develop insights to inform the Egypt go-to-market strategy through analysis of business metrics, research on market and competitor trends
Supervise and track performance metrics across the user funnel to identify key risks and opportunities for growth
Support Consumer Marketing operations, budget allocation and spend
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to bring data and insights to craft the execution of initiatives across the business and ensure that all processes run efficiently and optimally
Elaborate learning agenda for key strategic initiatives, interpret results, prepare presentations and communicate findings to local leadership and the broader organization
Support or, at times, step in to lead key strategic or operational initiatives critical to the local market’s growth
Who You Are
Degree in a related field (analytics / data science / economics) or equivalent practical experience
At least a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in management consulting, research firm or in an equivalent business operations or analyst role at a fast-growing technology company in Egypt
Strong analytical skills and comfort analyzing large datasets, with sophisticated knowledge of tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Tableau and SQL programming
You are an organised, strategic problem solver with an understanding of planning and budgeting, experienced in data analysis, data modelling, Keynote/Powerpoint, Excel
You have shown results demonstrating thought leadership and business judgment, developing and interpreting deep data analysis and presenting rigorous analysis and insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence
Deep understanding of the Egyptian market informed by extensive experience working directly in the market. MENA wide experience is a plus
Experience structuring and leading sophisticated projects end-to-end, with excellent project management, problem-solving and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly distill large amounts of information into clear insights and recommendations for leaders across the business
Thrive working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
Proficient in Arabic and English
Genuine, confident, flexible and fun attitude
Experience working with an international team is a plus
