We have a great opportunity for an Artist & Label Partnerships Manager to come and join the band in Berlin!

The Artist & Label Partnerships team is the face of Spotify to artists, managers, labels & distributors, and as the ALP Manager in the GSA Music Team, you’ll be proactive, fearless and eager to lead change to improve the opportunities for artists to be successful on the Spotify platform.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for record labels, distributors, managers and artists. You will educate artists & their teams about Spotify best practices, resources and tools. You will build impactful and innovative artist partnerships utilising on-platform promotion and off-platform marketing to ensure that artists, managers and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development.
You will work closely with key internal partners and teams including editorial, consumer marketing and others. 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Build and maintain best-in-class partnerships across the artist and label community across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Advocate for Spotify’s interests externally within the creator community and empower partners with opportunities, insights and tools to help them achieve their goals
  • Drive development of new music and content strategies and champion new initiatives
  • Act as a representative of Spotify in the music industry with major and independent label partners, management teams and artists
  • Act as an internal Spotify representative of the artists and labels you work with, seeking opportunities to help them grow their audience and their business

    Who You Are

     

  • You have a strong music and technology background; fully conversant in the latest digital marketing techniques and adept at analyzing and interpreting data and using it to set goals
  • You possess significant experience in partner-facing roles, ideally at an established digital music service, record label, media company or artist management company
  • You have the ability to work under pressure along with proven problem solving abilities
  • You can work with a range of cross-functional teams across a large distributed global music and technology organization
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • You are well organized, able to plan and deliver on tight deadlines
  • You are a team player and able to build close working relationships with peers and partners
  • You bring a growth mindset and are able to translate your vision into action in a goal oriented and structured manner
  • You are fluent in German and English
