We have a great opportunity for an Artist & Label Partnerships Lead to come and join the Andean region team out of Colombia!
The Artist & Label Partnerships team are the primary points of contact for record labels, distributors, managers and artists. They are responsible for educating artists & their teams about Spotify standard methodologies, resources and tools and for building impactful and innovative artist partnerships to ensure that artists, managers and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development. The team sits within the LatAm organization and will work very closely with other teams regionally and in the Andean region like Artist & Label Partnerships Busines, Editorial, Marketing and other key internal stakeholders including Studios, Growth, ad sales and the International music team.
The ideal candidate is eager to motivate change to improve the opportunities for artists to be successful on the Spotify platform. You will report directly to the Head of Artists & Label Partnerships – LatAm & US Latin and lead 1 team member.

What you’ll do
Lead and represent the Spotify Artist and Label Partnerships department externally across the music industry landscape, attending meetings with label partners, managers, artists, and other organizations to find opportunities and foster partnerships.
Lead, develop, and inspire the team building a fruitful team culture that combines creativity with data-driven decision making while taking into account cultural relevance.
Track, review, and evaluate priorities, as well as culturally relevant moments, and identify in collaboration with a cross-functional team those artists that Spotify will support in on and off platform promotions.
Handle strategic and mutually profitable relationships with key industry partners (artists, managers, labels, industry organizations) across the Andean market.
Empower partners with opportunities, insights and guidance to help them achieve their goals and build more audiences on Spotify
Oversee multiple market-leading partnerships across multiple timelines, keep projects on track, and comprehensively report on progress and results at each stage
Work cross-functionally with other Music team and cross-functional Leads to ensure alignment and fulfill company strategic goals
Lead, develop and inspire the team, building a fruitful team culture that combines creativity with data-driven decision making while taking into account cultural relevance.
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in a managerial role
10+ years of career experience in the music/entertainment industry and a strong understanding of the Colombia music market and an excellent reputation amongst your network of label and artist contacts
Self-aware and able and willing to examine both your own work and that of your team’s critically in order to continually iterate and improve.
You are a passionate music fan who is in tune to various genres and cultures, who understands how fandom communicates and what drives and excites them.
Exhibit a clear understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and current trends and innovations with positive relationships throughout the industry.
You are an open, visible and clear communicator who is well organized, strives for operational excellence, and is able to deliver on tight deadlines and pay outstanding attention to detail.
You are comfortable in very fast paced, work environments and thrive on a team that moves quickly.
An optimistic-minded, self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and knack for problem solving.
Can be creative, collaborative, and comfortable with analysing data and understanding how to apply it.
