We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Account Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales cycle from RFP submission to wrap, with a focus on providing consultative client service. This role includes strategic planning, consultative selling, project management and data led storytelling. You will be a reliable and crucial team member who can anticipate client needs. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music!
What You’ll Do
Directly manage a team of account managers to support and drive revenue
Work closely with in market Sales Leadership to contribute to the delivery of country growth strategies
Work as a dedicated Account Manager for strategic, priority accounts being an expert on all responsibilities, processes and tools of the Account Management role and a demonstrated leader of the team
Partner with Sales Leadership for Account Planning, Retention Analysis and JBP service delivery
Partner with cross-functional internal teams to deliver campaign results and maintain alignment in support of the business
Channel feedback, priority issues and client needs to country Sales leadership and Asia Account Management Lead.
Contribute and lead trainings for the Japan AM team as a tenured member of the team
Oversee completion of AM team recurring tasks including pipeline hygiene, campaign pacing, production tracking and measurement outcomes
Provide bi-annual development talks to your team with ongoing team guidance and coaching
Review and approve administrative tasks for each individual on your team
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business
At least 6+ years experience in digital media, planning and/or buying; previous people management preferred
A reputation being an individual that provides world class customer service
Ability to gracefully translate client requests for internal cross-functional teams
Detail oriented and find solutions for clients while improving internal processes
You hold strong relationships with internal and external partner teams
Effective listener and transparent communicator
Passionate about identifying and developing excellent customer service skills in others
Experienced working within CRMs, OMSs, ad servers and other digital media tech systems, and are experienced in tools like excel and powerpoint
You understand the technical foundations of digital media, podcasts and programmatic mediums and have experience proactively identifying solutions to problems preferred
Fluent in 3rd party tracking vendors, including brand studies, viewability, and other relevant industry technology preferred
