You will have primary responsibility to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue quota assignments for specified area(s). This includes the understanding of channel business goals and requirements, and being involved in the presentation of Splunk product, solution and technology propositions to distribution salespeople.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transactional support across all Indirect RTMs:
  • SME for Partner program details, discounting structure, deal registration process, quote creation.
  • Be a resource to internal teams and external partners Proactive maintenance of RSM community via outreach & reference resources (FAQ, SOPs, etc)
  • Responsible for internal conflict resolution (pricing partner concerns, source & influence, etc.)
  • Responsible for awareness of cross-RTM pipe and transaction cycles, and coordinating with PDMs on Focus Partner pipe, optimization
  • Contributes to non-focused Partner Enablement, including grooming and training sales people for Focus Partner
  • Work with the field sales team on account mapping with channel partners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years selling experience with software sales/SaaS (direct/indirect sales experience)
  • Sales within fast growing enterprise company preferred (groundbreaking technology)
  • Recent and previous success exceeding revenue and bookings quotas in a channel
  • Experience working with resellers and Distribution.
  • Success and references to prove the success from working with partners, direct sales teams and sales leaders
  • Experience strategizing and managing Resellers and exceeded goals
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting activities related to sales and revenue activities
  • BS preferred
  • Location: remote in the U.S. (preferred locations: Plano, Texas or Western part of U.S)
