Snowflake is seeking a Sr. Customer Trust EMEA Lead to join our Global Security Compliance & Risk team and lead program implementation and audit readiness for our EMEA customers. The  Sr. Customer Trust EMEA Lead is an extremely high visibility, customer-facing leader within the Snowflake Security team, responsible for four primary objectives:

  • Partner with the Snowflake Sales team to represent Snowflake’s Security program to prospects and customers globally, including and not limited to the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Netherlands in EMEA.
  • Lead Snowflake Security Compliance programs, obligations, and audits for C5, TISAX, and others.
  • Coordinate customer audits in support of customer compliance objectives
  • Support regulatory engagement for industry and region specific programs

AS A SENIOR CUSTOMER TRUST EMEA LEAD AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:

  • Engage directly with customers and auditors to manage on-site customer and compliance audits, conference calls, and potentially local in-person meetings.
  • Engage with regulatory compliance specialists for industry specific compliance offerings.
  • Own compliance programs such as TISAX, C5, CE+ and other compliance offerings in collaboration with global compliance team members.  
  • Collaborate with Snowflake’s global sales team to improve internal process/communication to enable faster and more seamless experiences for our customers. 
  • Engage with Top Tier Customers globally to establish relationships with customer’s Security and Compliance points of contact
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide customers with meaningful updates on features and programs.
  • Identify requirements that would enable additional customer use cases. 
  • Update customer-facing materials and internal governance tools to include the latest and greatest information on Snowflake’s security program.
  • Become an expert on the security features available for customers to deploy within the Snowflake Service, including best practices for implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Security Data Governance & Compliance team to ensure they achieve team objectives.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR CUSTOMER TRUST EMEA LEAD MUST HAVE:

  • Passion for customer satisfaction
  • Technical competence sufficient to understand and explain complicated security concepts
  • Familiarity with two or more of the following standards: TISAX, C5, Cyber Essentials +, PCI-DSS, SOC1, SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, GDPR etc.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR CUSTOMER TRUST EMEA SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

  • Conversational language fluency in German and English
  • Previous role that requires exceptional organizational skills
  • Project or program management experience
  • Extremely high ethical standards as proven by successful background checks and references
  • Experience leading a globally distributed audit program
  • Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Technical Program Management experience
  • Experience with multiple SaaS / Cloud solutions
  • Analytics or database experience
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud
  • Achievements that demonstrate candidate is extremely detail oriented
  • Achievements that demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Project or program management experience
  • Extremely high ethical standards as proven by successful background checks and references
  • Experience working with C-level customer contacts 
  • Previous experience working with a variety of personalities from a variety of cultures
  • CISSP or similar certification
