One of the changes we see in the market is that the products software providers are building are all data driven now – workflows and automations are good, but to be an industry leader you need to provide insights, AI/ML, and more within the applications. 

Snowflake has a unique opportunity, with the technology, people and processes, to help these providers realize the full value of their products.  Snowflake is continuing to add talent and build out our team of Application Principals to help these providers understand:

  • The technical value the Snowflake Data Cloud can provide
  • The additional revenue models that are supported by Snowflake's unique architecture
  • The partnership benefits that are delivered through the Powered By Snowflake program
  • How to transform their business with consumption based pricing models


  • 5+ years of Snowflake sales experience with an emphasis on application use cases
  • Self-starter who independently manage time and develop close internal relationships
  • Ability to translate customer conversations into technical feedback for product and marketing teams
  • Understanding of Snowflake's partner ecosystem, programs, and how we provide value to these partners
  • The ability to break down technical capabilities into business value that could be realized by product and executive teams
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake's data collaboration capabilities
  • Understanding of emerging trends in the application space like managed, connected an native applications
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and build sales enablement material
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
  • BA/BS required


  • Working with account teams to strategize on the fit and value of Snowflake's technology for their applications
  • Meet daily with clients to explain Snowflake's platform and revenue models
  • Consult with clients on new pricing strategies and moving to consumption based pricing
  • Pitch and promote the Powered By Snowflake program to clients
  • Evangelize the Powered By program internally in QBRs, team meetings, and through various trainings
  • Develop new content (presentations, playbooks) to help clients and internal teams understand the application workload and new feature releases
  • Provide feedback to product based on customer meetings
  • Present to large groups at field marketing events and webinars
  • Help define and enhance processes for the execution of the Powered By Snowflake program
