About the role:

As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will be at the front of Samsara’s go-to-market strategy. This includes hunting for leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and building demand for Samsara’s full line of products. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop enterprise technology sales skills and to advance their careers. Successful ADR's earn accelerated commissions and head down the path for promotion into closing roles. You will work closely with top-tier executives and will see up close how sales organizations succeed. You will also champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset) as we scale globally and across new offices. This position is based in our Atlanta office.

Qualifications:

  • High level of interest in the IoT space
  • Excitement around growing a sales career
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, customer facing environment
  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Motivated to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be fluent in French

 

In your first week, you'll:

  • Travel to Samsara HQ in San Francisco for a week of New Hire Training
  • Attend a variety of different onboarding sessions, where you'll receive a thorough introduction to our leadership team, be immersed in our product offerings and meet our CEO, Sanjit Biswas, in a “Samsara 101” class
  • Meet your team and fellow new hire cohort
  • Shadow cold-calls, product demos, etc.

Regarding COVID-19

Samsara's offices are beginning to reopen for voluntary return. Reopening timelines will be communicated by region based on region-specific guidelines. Phase 3 ('New Normal') will begin no earlier than January 2022. Our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our employees as well as candidates. We have transitioned all interviews and onboarding to be conducted virtually via Zoom video conferencing. Employees are able to work from countries and states where Samsara is a registered entity through December 2021.
