The Position

This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a difference in the global employment space as the Senior Manager, Pre-Sales Support on the Sales team. This is a strategic role that will lead, direct and grow the tier one pre-sales support function to develop internal expertise and provide timely support to the sales team on a daily basis. (Note that this position is not a sales operations role.)

Requirements

  • Background and expertise in an area of Human Resources: HRIS, Payroll Operations, Benefits or similar
  • 5+ year experience in a Sales Support in a B2B SaaS environment
  • 2+ years managing a Sales or Customer-facing support organization in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Successful track record of automating manual processes
  • Able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced, international, scaleup environment and stay flexible through growth and change
  • Familiarity with agile principles and focus on delivering results with a bias for action, innovation, and an iterative approach
  • Energetic and enthusiastic self-starter
  • Working knowledge of change management principles
  • Experience using G-Suite, Gitlab, Zendesk, Asana, Slack, CRM solutions
  • Experience working remotely is not required, but considered a plus.
  • Writes and speaks fluent English

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a global Sales Support team to serve as primary tier one support for the global sales team in responding to customer inquiries pre-sale
  • Develop team members with specific subject-matter expertise within all business areas (benefits, employee onboarding, HRIS, platform, integrations, payroll, internal legal processes, etc) to support sales team inquiries
  • Develop effective processes to streamline pre-sales support, create efficiences and scale for the sales organization as we grow
  • Suggest creative solutions and work with automation team to reduce manual, repetitive tasks
  • Research and respond to daily inquiries on various channels (Slack, Asana, etc). Track inquiries across tools to address patterns and themes, sharing with Sales Enablement to action the data with training and enablement programs. Work closely with Sales Enablement Knowledge Managers to ensure support answers are captured for documentation purposes.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key subject matter experts across the company
  • Identify best practices and implement and manage the RFP/RFI tenders and Security Questionnaire processes
  • Highlight blockers and work with urgency to resolve
  • Manage the coordination of vendor trials, vendor assessments, facilitating customer questionnaires and other related tasks
