About Design at Plaid
The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, design systems designers, brand designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products & services, and deepen Plaid’s understanding of the world around it.
What you’ll do
As a Brand Design Manager for our core products and audiences, you’ll help to elevate our brand and push the boundaries of how it comes to life across a range of media and new channels—from digital to OOH, print to web to video, and more. You’ll lead and grow a team of brand designers and will manage agency or contractor relationships. You’ll also work closely with Brand Marketing and Growth marketing to strategize, prioritize, and execute campaigns for our core products and audiences.

At least 10 years of experience designing and developing brands, at least 2 years of experience working for an in-house team, and at least 1 year of experience managing a team
A proven track record of delivering and art-directing beautiful, compelling, and high-impact campaigns and brand experiences
Excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of collaborating across teams and disciplines
Having a growth mindset—proactively seeking out opportunities for improvement, whether for yourself, your team, or the way we do things
Nice-to-have: Agency experience
