PS – Manager, Pre-Sales Program Manager

Job purpose:

Okta Professional Services organization supports sales growth, decreases the time to value for customers to see a return on their investment, and creates the foundation for long-term adoption in order to help Okta achieve growth goals. This role will play an important role in supporting this initiative. You will identify, design, and execute on strategies in positioning the value of Okta Professional Services across our teams by developing comprehensive, scalable and repeatable enablement programs. This role will require strong cross-functional skills, as this person will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer First ensuring programs are optimized for pipeline generation and fueling growth. We are looking for someone who is a great communicator, content creator, possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and collaboration skills. They must be flexible with change and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.  

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Articulate, educate and enable the value of Okta Professional Services internally and 
  • Enthusiastically promote the successes of PS and educate AE’s on the particular strengths we offer clients
  •  Provide direction to content creators on training needs of the Professional Services team
  • Support cataloging, monitoring, and marketing Professional Services portfolio of services delivered
  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key internal stakeholders Collaborate with Marketing, Delivery Leadership and Sales Leadership to identify critical requirements for Enablement Programs
  • Utilize data and feedback to continue to improve and develop programs 
  • Manage multiple initiatives  at one time with strong attention to detail and task management skills
  • Ability to understand, work with, and present to a Sales audience
  • Deep understanding of sales, sales development, and enablement strategies
  • Strong communication, presentation, and written skills



  • 5+ or more years of SaaS implementation experience
  • 1-2 years experience in sales, sales operations, or sales enablement in a global, enterprise organization
  • Hands on experience with project delivery, including all aspects of program management and SDLC preferred
  • Experience working with Professional Services or Technology Solutions sales departments
  • Demonstrated professional growth and the proven ability to work cross-functionally
  • Broad knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Security space
  • Level 1: Professional Okta Certification or expectation to be certified within first 3 months of employment
  • General knowledge of cloud architecture as well as on-premise IT landscape
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all levels 
  • Embrace challenging situations and enjoy solving complex problems
  • Self-starter with ability to function independently and in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload and adjust priorities to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Education, Training and Certification

  • A Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience is required

((Colorado, New York, Washington only*) Minimum OTE of $148,000/year + equity + benefits)
