THE TEAM
The Eventbrite Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event creators and event goers. We are data driven and biased towards action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers. 

THE ROLE
As the Social Marketing Manager, you’ll be on the front lines of engaging a community of millions of event creators. We are looking for a gifted social media marketer to help build, implement, and execute a best-in-class strategy that takes the passion of our event creators and translates it into meaningful engagement across channels. You’ll be responsible for producing social content that elevates the Eventbrite brand and you will work to facilitate two-way conversations with timely community management. A successful candidate will be a social media expert with a track record of growing a known brand’s social media presence across multiple platforms. You’ll work cross-functionally to support new product launches, brand campaigns, and social impact initiatives. You’ll partner closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to concept and execute projects at the highest level, ensuring delivery of impactful experiences that drive engagement and brand advocacy.

 

YOU WILL

 

  • Partner with the Senior Social Marketing Strategist to produce social-first content and manage Eventbrite’s growing social media presence across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage global content calendars and plan coordinated moments around which the brand can promote key stories. 
  • Monitor social feeds alongside our social support team and respond to Eventbrite’s creator and consumer community — ensuring consistency of our brand voice and tone across all interactions.
  • Partner with the Brand Studio team and external agencies to create engaging graphics and video assets for our social channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and PR to plan and execute campaigns. 
  • Conduct social listening and monitor channels for trending/viral content that should be integrated into Eventbrite social media.
  • Compile social analytics and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence, ensuring KPIs are met and reporting out insights to inform future strategy and plans.

    THE SKILLSET

     

  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related field.
  • An experienced social media storyteller with a proven ability to create content for a known brand or publication. 
  • A deep understanding of social analytics as well as experience using social listening tools  (eg. Sprout Social, Conversocial).
  • A strong communicator who can use data to craft a narrative of impact.
  • A true self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for live experiences.
