Role Description

Dropbox is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Program Manager to help develop and implement project management procedures and methodologies that are foundational to the success of the Security PMO. This role will support cross-functional business operations, coordination, monitoring and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to merge a broad understanding of both security and business goals with the right support and ownership to help ensure that our large-scale projects are run efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • You will help drive our internal technical documentation processes and structure.
  • You will coordinate reporting on security controls and responses with our partner teams by collaborating with engineering and building a knowledgebase to reduce redundancy.
  • You will monitor, report and drive resolution and escalations from security dashboards.
  • You will manage complex inter-team dependencies and bridge the gaps in ownership.
  • You will need to work with many different domain resources from Product Managers, Engineers, Engineering Managers, UX Designers, Product Marketing, User Researchers, Product Analysts, Business Development, Legal, etc.
  • You will drive, manage, and edit core reporting and documentation against annual, quarterly, and monthly rhythm of the business deadlines.
  • You will create and simplify processes to reduce noise, scale work and ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Operational Program Management experience in technical industry
  • Experience writing technical documentation, using modern documentation software, and defining internal operations and reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent program management experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Experience with managing large cross-functional projects
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
