Strategy & Operations, Product Lead


Role Description

The Strategic Product Operations team is a centralized and highly leveraged group focused on delivering a range of impactful operating initiatives across the organization. Our mission is to enable product teams to do their best work by removing development friction and holding Dropbox accountable to the outcomes that matter most. This team partners with leadership to scope, structure and implement operating strategies that deliver on our mission.
As a senior member, you will continually apply your business operations and strategy craft to gain an understanding of operating trade-offs, develop actionable insight and implement frameworks that support product development.  This role is highly visible across Dropbox, having broad scope to establish working relationships with functional leaders and be an advocate for positive change. 


  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand operational pain points to uncover insights and design solutions that will drive operational efficiency for the organization
  • Deliver on operational rituals within the product organization, cascading from the GM executive level down to the product squad
  • Work with leadership to help manage and run the annual product planning process and ensure that strategic goals and priorities are aligned across multiple teams
  • Be responsible for building strong connections with the organization and driving a tight feedback loop that coordinate a smooth transfer of information
  • Lead operational implementation of multiple high priority projects and prioritize dynamic workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify tools and software to automate operational workflows, where applicable
  • Team up with data science and data engineering to systematize product dashboards to make it easy for teams to manage data analysis and metrics tracking at scale


  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working in Product – led organizations 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Impact driven and a consistent history of delivering measurable results
  • Strong communications, with an ability to influence cross-functionally 
  • Balance between intellectual curiosity and the desire to roll up your sleeves and execute
  • Build alignment and listen well, but can also drive hard decision by framing different options and tradeoffs 
  • Comfortable tackling complex and ambiguous opportunities 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
