Role Description

As a Partner Sales Manager, you will recruit, enable and manage partners within a territory to accelerate Dropbox Business adoption across small-to-medium sized businesses. We are seeking a seasoned channel professional with partner and regional planning as well as execution experience. Dropbox is rapidly growing its partner community so a successful candidate will have experience working with partners one-to-one and in scaled capacity to further accelerate growth!

Responsibilities

  • Own, build, develop and manage the Partner plan for the designated region
  • Determine key Partners within each region with whom Dropbox can drive significant business growth, identify key partners to build relationships and credibility within those partner organizations, and help them realize the full potential of Dropbox Business
  • Drive one-to-one and scaled Partner engagement to train and enable sales teams to bring the best Dropbox experience to their customers
  • Lead local field marketing events and trade shows in collaboration with partner marketing and other internal stakeholders
  • Establish relationships with the key Distributor personnel in the region to ensure that we build a seamless and effective sales process through the distributor cloud marketplace

Requirements

  • Proven experience in channel partnerships (SaaS background preferred)
  • Deep understanding of the Dropbox solution, as well as the competitive offerings
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self starter and team player
  • Fearless attitude to try new processes and iterate to scale a global sales engine
  • Strong propensity to take initiative; thrive on change and ambiguity
  • SaaS Sales or Channel Reseller or Distributor
  • Must be a hunter, with SMB, Commercial or Enterprise experience
  • Experience partnerships from the ground up, building a comprehensive GTM sales plan
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mindset towards building a strategic set of partners 
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time

Total Rewards

For candidates hired in Colorado, the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range/rate for the role is $97,580 – $114,800 – $132,020.
This salary/OTE range represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE (Sales roles) range for this position, and is subject to change. To determine a Dropboxer’s starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. This position may be considered a promotional opportunity
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
