Partner Sales Manager

Role Description

As a Partner Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving scaled growth and enablement with one of our top strategic partners, CDW.  We are seeking a seasoned channel sales professional with partner and regional planning skills that can take this partnership to the next level. Dropbox is rapidly growing its partner focus so a successful candidate will have experience working with partners one-to-one and in a scaled capacity to further accelerate growth and mindshare at CDW.

Responsibilities

  • Own, build, develop and manage the strategic planning process for CDW                                      
  • Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders at CDW with whom Dropbox can drive significant business growth and alignment in effort to realize the full potential of the Dropbox and CDW partnership
  • Drive one-to-one as well as scaled enablement to CDW sellers and to bring the best Dropbox experience possible to their customers
  • Plan and lead in-field marketing events and trade shows in collaboration with partner marketing and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Evangelize relationships with the key Distribution personnel to ensure we’re building a seamless and effective procurement process and aligning on joint Go to Market initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in channel partnerships (SaaS background preferred)
  • Deep understanding of the Dropbox solution, as well as the competitive offerings
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self starter and team player with outstanding organizational skills
  • Fearless attitude to try new processes and iterate to scale a global sales engine
  • Strong propensity to take initiative; thrive on change and ambiguity
  • SaaS Sales or Channel Reseller or Distributor
  • Must be a hunter, with SMB, Commercial or Enterprise experience
  • Experience partnerships from the ground up, building a comprehensive GTM sales plan
  • Must have an entrepreneurial mindset towards building a strategic set of partners 
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time

Total Rewards

For candidates hired in the following locations: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, Oregon, Washington D.C. metro, California (outside SF metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $214,200 – $252,000 – $289,800. 

For candidates hired in the following locations: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois (outside Chicago Metro), North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas (outside Austin Metro), Virginia (outside D.C. Metro), the expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role is currently $190,400 – $224,000 – $257,600. 

Range(s) is subject to change. Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. 

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
