The team
Our Workplace Experience (WE) team creates environments and experiences that inclusively support our welcoming and collaborative culture, and help people do great work.  The team oversees daily operations of our global offices which ranges from delivering a white glove guest experience, to organizing employee events, coordinating office moves, providing a welcoming new hire experience and responding to a variety of employee requests. The WE Team takes pride in creatively delivering solutions that feel both personal, and that also scale, and for connecting us with each other and supporting our sense of purpose and community.  Our core values are: service with joy, quality through curation, teamwork, embracing change, and bias for action.

This position
The WE Ambassador will be responsible for the front of house – being the face and personality of DocuSign in a friendly, engaging and helpful manner. This position is intentionally called an “ambassador” and not a “receptionist” because we value the importance of connecting our people with each other, and the outside world. The Ambassador will thrive in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks while assisting the WE team with different projects and the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This person will enjoy being flexible in taking on ad hoc duties. Willingness to learn is essential. This position reports to the EMEA/LATAM Workplace Experience Manager.


  • Enthusiastically meet and greet visitors with an affinity for excellent customer service
  • Build relationships of mutual trust and handle complaints and concerns in an emotionally intelligent and constructive way
  • Assist with the new hire onboarding process welcoming new hires to the office and familiarizing them with their team neighborhood, office and building amenities and where to go when they have questions
  • Assist the Workplace team with onsite event management including catering, building access and meeting room setup
  • Evaluate the need for and requisition adequate office supplies
  • Support local office Intranet site with forward thinking ideas and strong written communication skills
  • Coordinate with building personnel and other vendors to submit tickets for repairs, maintenance and miscellaneous requests based on employee feedback
  • Monitor and audit office cleanliness and functionality and inform the EMEA office Manager of any issues that need to be addressed
  • Assist with improving DocuSign’s Environmental Corporate Social Responsibility by finding ways to reduce waste and implement eco-friendly solutions
  • Manage local office access badges and work closely with Security to help maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees, customers and building issues

 Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree
  • 2 years of office services, hospitality, reception, and/or facilities experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, Slack
  • Ability to work extended hours where necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Ambassador (reception) experience
  • Team player with a flexible mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • General knowledge of Security standards
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Good prioritization and time management skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, and ability to make good decisions in a rapidly changing environment
  • Encourage employee engagement
