The Opportunity:

Datadog is looking for a Talent Development Coordinator to support the regular delivery of training programs and learning events that advance the company’s performance and strengthen our culture. This role is critical to the execution of organization-wide development programs as we rapidly scale.

You will have the opportunity to make a big impact at Datadog by enabling our People team to deliver more frequent and high-touch learning programs globally. This role will involve collaboration and partnership with stakeholders across the business and within the People team to ensure we are executing and optimizing quality talent development programs on a regular basis. You will help unlock the potential of current and future employees by providing them access to impactful, enjoyable learning experiences.

As the newest member of our Talent Development function, your work will significantly enhance our learning programs by enabling us to meet increasing employee demand as our variety of offerings and global headcount exponentially grow. The successful candidate will quickly become an expert in our current programs and processes, while also identifying operational areas for improvement to better support the business at scale. Additionally, they will be highly organized and adept at driving collaborative projects through completion to achieve business goals.

You will:

  • Lead the execution of company-wide learning initiatives that help us recruit, develop, and retain top talent
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, marketing, and communications for our learning programs to deliver polished and professional experiences
  • Support learners throughout the entire program or event lifecycle (including pre- and post-event communications), ensuring a smooth and positive experience
  • Maintain accurate sign-up and attendance records
  • Promote efficient avenues for feedback collection and drive submissions from participants
  • Serve as an attentive and knowledgeable point of contact to employees, addressing questions quickly and clearly
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to improve the quality, efficiency, and scalability of our operations (e.g., automating processes, creating communication templates, etc.)
  • Help market and generate enthusiasm for internal development opportunities
  • Partner with stakeholders to inspire advocacy of Datadog training content and drive high participation rates
  • Support team operations by proactively tracking, monitoring, and reporting on projects using Google Sheets, Jira, Trello, and other digital tools
  • Collaborate with external vendors and our internal legal and finance teams to coordinate additional learning opportunities
  • Manage systems such as Udemy and Everfi to ensure employees have the tools they need to complete relevant trainings

You Are:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a business setting, ideally within a high-growth environment
  • Strong project management skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Experience driving forward initiatives with multiple moving parts and extended timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with collaborators and stakeholders
  • Confident and precise communicator, able to clearly convey key points to others
  • Ability to serve as a credible point of contact for individuals across various levels, departments, and geographies
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points:

  • Professional experience in HR, L&D, Talent Development, or a related field
  • Degree in HR, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or a related field
  • Working familiarity with systems such as Google suite, Udemy, and Workday
