The Team:

We are a fast-moving, analytically driven and growing product marketing team spread across New York, San Francisco and Paris offices as well as remotely. Our collective mission is to win more business by effectively reaching and explaining the value of our products to users (customers) and sellers (internal) for all products across all the categories we play in.

To achieve this mission each Product Marketing Managers (PMM) is an integral part of the Product and Marketing orgs who collaborates cross-functionally to bring new products to market and increase adoption of existing ones.

From go-to-market strategy for new products and features, to creating the content that enables our sales and partner teams, you’ll touch on all areas of the business and help move Datadog forward. We give our Product Marketing Managers the opportunity to collaborate, investigate and idealize how we can gear our product strategy to yield the highest results. 

 

You Will:

As a Product Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Driving go-to-market strategy for Datadog Mobile RUM
    Datadog Mobile RUM is a subset of Datadog RUM and comes with out-of-the-box dashboards that display key performance metrics, errors, and resources, giving customers real-time insights into the health of their mobile application in production.
    • Managing successful product launches
      Create and update content (including technical) to support product launches, digital marketing campaigns and industry events including our very own DASH.
    • Increasing product usage and adoption
      Collaborate with product, sales, customer success and partner marketing to enable a variety of strategies including free trials, user focused onboarding, and co-marketing.
    • Enabling sales and customer success
      Create, teach, maintain and optimize sales enablement courses, product certification courses and LMS curriculum to help increase our win ratio and upsell opportunities.
  • Supporting content marketing

Develop marketing assets including pitch decks, ebooks, case studies, blogs, webinars, short-form demo videos, and customer testimonials to drive engagement with prospects.

 

You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Marketer or a Product Manager working on a product targeted towards Google Android and Apple iOS developers.
  • A strong presenter and storyteller with an ability to command an audience.
  • Intellectually curious with a BS in a STEM field or Marketing.
  • Passionate about SaaS with an understanding of mobile app architecture, cloud computing, DevOps and product-led growth strategy.
  • Exceptional in writing skills with demonstrable prior experience in developing product messaging.

 

Bonus Points:

  • You have an MBA or an advanced CS degree.
  • You’re passionate about exploring new technologies.
  • Understanding of distributed tracing and observability, using Datadog or a similar product
  • You’ve had professional experience in development, product management, sales engineering or another technical role.
