The Team:

We are a fast-moving, analytically driven marketing team. We run thousands of campaigns, drive market & competitive intelligence, support hundreds of events, enable the sales team, research and evangelize ideas that move our industry forward, and more. Product Marketing Managers (PMM) at Datadog are an integral part of the Product and the Marketing orgs. PMMs partner with Product Managers to bring new products to market.

 

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for a place where you can not just grow your PMM career and launch new products, while putting your own stamp on what Datadog product marketing does? From go-to-market strategy for new products and features, to creating the content that enables our sales and partner teams, you’ll touch on all areas of the business and help move Datadog forward. We give our Product Marketing Managers the opportunity to collaborate, investigate and idealize how we can gear our product strategy to yield the highest results. 

 

You Will:

  • Be the resident product marketing expert on cloud cost intelligence driving product launches and go-to-market by creating and supporting release content; including pitch decks, blogs, webpage updates, and sales enablement collateral.

  • Define, establish and maintain value propositions for our new Cloud Cost Management product with supporting materials and documentation including data sheets, product brochures, and solutions content.

  • Research and articulate competitive and market analysis to define Datadog’s differentiation in the market and provide insight on roadmap guidance and battle cards.

  • Build off of competitive insights and work closely with product management and pricing teams to identify a pricing and packaging strategy for the product.

  • Engage with customers and create at least 2-3 quarterly customer case studies.

  • Enable the sales team by delivering quarterly product updates, creating and teaching sales foundation courses, and creating relevant enablement materials.

  • Become a full-time content creator by developing a variety of marketing assets including ebooks, case studies, blogs, webinars, short-form demo videos, customer testimonials and so much more. 

  • Work closely with demand generation to put together world-class campaigns targeted at both external and internal customers. 

 

You Are:

  • Experienced in 2+ years as a Product Marketer, Product Manager, Business Value Manager, or other relevant experience

  • A strong presenter with ability to command an audience

  • Intellectually curious with a BS in a STEM, Finance or Marketing

  • Passionate about SaaS with an understanding of modern system architecture, cloud computing and DevOps with a growth mindset mentality 

  • Exceptional in your written skills with prior experience in producing written content

  • Courageous communicator who isn’t afraid to share their thoughts 

 

Bonus Points:

  • You have an MBA or an advanced CS degree

  • You’re passionate about exploring new technologies

  • Experience in Partner Marketing or Marketplace Marketing

  • Understanding of distributed tracing and observability, using Datadog or a similar product

  • You’ve had professional experience in finance operations, cloud cost solutions, or AWS
