Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Germany, as a Named Enterprise Account Executive, you will manage and expand our presence within a small number of very large Named enterprise accounts. You will come with an informed point of view on Big Data and Advanced Analytics which will guide your successful sales strategy together with both internal teams and external partners, allowing you to provide value to our biggest and most valued customers.


The impact you will have:

  • Review your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and utilise all buying centres
  • Identify expand use cases in each account to maximise the impact of Databricks
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other internal teams to maximise the impact on your ecosystem
  • Demonstrate value to all stakeholders in order to guide successful negotiations and close new use cases
  • Partner with organisations to increase the “consumption” of Databricks services within your customers
  • Identify all key uses cases and buying centres in an opportunity to increase the impact of Databricks in an organisation


What we look for:

  • Proven history of quota achievement
  • Experience selling complex, multi million dollar software deals to the most recognisable organisations in Germany.
  • Evidence of creating demand that results in large-scale account expansion
  • Experience working with sales methodologies and qualification frameworks (e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value selling) as well as accurate forecasting
  • The ability to identify champions within important accounts and work with other teams to help implement an account expansion plan
  • Experience developing a clear partner strategy and managing it to success
  • Experience selling a “consumption-based” SaaS solution is advantageous
  • Fluent German and English language skills
