Job Overview

The People team at Coursera is responsible for building our teams, retaining our amazing talent, and developing programs that create community and promote employee betterment. Currently, we are tackling projects aimed at helping Coursera to continue to scale as a top global company of high-performance teams. You will find yourself in the epicenter of data mining relating to all things People, Talent, Workplace and Workforce planning and operations. You’ll converge on multiple organizational intersections to constantly observe, ask the right questions, gather information and develop hypotheses that can be tested and transformed into high impact, compelling solutions to help drive people-related business decisions. People's insights are both a science and an art. You will have the ability to be innovative and stretch the boundaries of people analytics to support the acquisition, retention and optimization of Coursera’s #1 asset, its people.

To help us along this journey we are seeking a Senior People Analytics Partner  to drive high impact work that produces the insights leaders and teams rely on for informed decision making. Someone who enjoys a collaborative environment, is personally committed to continuous learning and growth mindset, is highly customer focused, and who can lead and inspire a remote team.


  • Ability to leverage Workday in building custom reports, advanced reports, and matrix reports to be consumed by all levels of HR and business lines
  • Advocate and drive a data mindset to enhance the critical thinking and problem-solving skills of Coursera’s Core People functions at scale (i.e. Total Rewards, Workforce Vision, Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience).
  • Communicate insights to key stakeholders and influence teams across organizations and geographies to take action based on your data driven recommendations
  • Build and maintain dashboards that convey insights and recommendations to support People and organizational decisions (i.e. compensation and benefits, diversity metrics, and cost of labor/hire etc)
  • Improve the efficient and compliant utilization of total compensation and data tools, system based recordkeeping workflows and People reporting processes and outputs
  • Effectively prioritizes workload comprised of both transactional and project-based tasks

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience working with HR data in a business analytics role utilizing Workday Advanced Reporting
  • Experience with SQL/relational databases and business intelligence tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Tableau)
  • Experience with HR processes within Workday including the employee lifecycle, compensation, and talent & performance
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing business facing and internal reports with data visualization
  • Experience interacting with, presenting to, and engaging effectively with senior leadership 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working with HR data in a business analytics role utilizing Workday Advanced Reporting
  • 2+ years of experience working with Workday Prism 
  • 2+ years of experience working with Workday People Analytics
  • Expertise in Data Visualization and solving for ambiguous problems
