Coupa is looking for a technical, customer service driven and all around professional individual to fill the role of Technical Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for managing the coordination and direction of multiple IT Projects for both the Business Applications Teams and the Infrastructure and End User Services Teams.
This includes maintaining consistent relationships, executing detailed project plans and schedules with the highest quality, solution integration and implementation with support from the workforce, all while being delivered on-time and on-budget.
The Technical Project Manager, will also support M&A integration projects from an IT perspective, including operational due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
Collaborate with cross functional, geographically dispersed teams to deliver strategic projects and technical solutions.
Lead and execute efficient and effective team meetings, often with executive level leadership to report on project status, schedule, and risks
Cultivate relationships and effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
Manage external project vendors as required
Verbal and written communication with business stakeholders including project kick-off, ongoing meetings, documentation, and follow-up when necessary.
Lead network, compute, storage, cloud, security, and business applications related projects end to end
Manage moderately to highly complex projects to schedule and budget
Responsible for all aspects of project management from inception to delivery with a focus in project planning, scoping, scheduling, executing, and quality assurance.
Define the scope of the project, roles, and responsibilities along with various stakeholders
Monitor project activities through the entire project lifecycle and set expectations with stakeholders
Evaluate and report on the progress of project(s) on a regular basis
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, and create requirement documentation
Play a key role in the design, testing, and implementation of new internal technology products and features
Identify and implement new processes with project teams as needed
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
2+ years experience with technical project management
Exceptional organizational skills
Experience with engaging stakeholders to capture and prioritize business needs.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong oral and written communications with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
Master collaborator with ability to influence, motivate, and generate goodwill with teammates
Preferred Skills for Consideration:
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment and globally distributed teams
Merger and Acquisitions M&A project management experience.
Project management certification a plus but not required
